ABIDE IN me, and I will ABIDE IN you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me.
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who ABIDE IN, and I in them, will produce much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5

Try taking 5 minutes today to get away, perhaps by taking a short walk in the garden or along the street. Be deliberate about taking this time for you to be alone, but also be deliberate about asking God to walk with you. Don’t try to pray big prayers and solve your challenges or the latest world issues. “Just let it be time when you remember, consciously, that you and God are in this thing together.” A time to remember that you are abiding in Christ and he in you. WOW!  Maybe just maybe that 5 minutes may shed a different light on the rest of your day.
