But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21

One of the things we are commanded to continue doing in our Christian walk is to ‘build ourselvesup in our most holy faith’. Faith is a commodity that God Himself gives. He brings us into the faith as it were. It’s our responsibility to ensure that we always build ourselves up in it. It’s our responsibility to ensure that we put everything in place to aid our spiritual growth. We need to work out our spiritual muscles and grow in God.

Start by taking 5 minutes to memorize the two verses above. Go over them 10 or so times and meditate on what they say. Internalise them. Then pray through the verses as the Holy Spirit helps you and seek God as you do so.
